“During this difficult time, it is important to look after your physical and mental health.”
This quote from one of Mr. Tedros Ghebreyesus’s recent speeches, the current Director-General of the World Health Organization, highlights the necessity to focus inward during these testing times. While going for a run or a 30-minute yoga session will take care of the former, it is equally vital to dedicate time for the latter.
Catering to this need of staying sharp during this period of inactivity, Mindler is now offering its ICCC Foundation level program via video conferencing. The International Certified Career Coach (ICCC) is a unique platform that allows individuals to enter the vibrant realm of career counselling.
ICCC is a multi-level credentialing program which enables educators to gain global credentialing in the field of career guidance. The credentialing bodies behind ICCC include NCDA – National Career Development Association (USA), CDA – Career Development Alliance (USA) and Mindler (India).
This is an excellent opportunity for you to virtually meet like minded professionals who are also interested in venturing into career coaching. At a time when a quarter of the world’s population is living in some form of lockdown, this is an opportune moment for you to try your hand at this satisfying profession.
Foundation level: Duration: 2 Days | Cost: Free | Mode: Video Conference
Convened by a number of India’s leading career and life coaches, the modules for the ICCC Foundation level have been crafted keeping in mind the holistic growth of participants. During the two days, participants will connect with each other using web conferencing platforms and will partake in several group activities that include case studies and quizzes.
Moreover, the Foundation level equips individuals with a growth mindset and motivates them to explore the Advance and Master levels—the next steps in the journey of making your mark as an eminent career coach. The three levels of the ICCC program aim to transform you into a career coach who is well acquainted with the educational demands of today’s young learners.
The Advanced and Master levels of the ICCC program
The second level of the ICCC program is about 3 months long and consists of numerous webinars and assignments through which the participants learn the art of career coaching. Upon completion, you will be able to help students, from both middle and high school, identify the necessary entrance exams, summer programs, degrees, and universities that will help them inch closer toward their dreams. During this time, you will partake in interactive sessions and a ‘real-life setting project’; the latter being a coaching session in which the participants will mentor students about the process of discovering ideal career paths. Such hands-on experiences are the highlights of the ICCC Advanced curriculum.
The concluding chapter of the program—the ICCC Master level—is a rigorous online course that redefines experiential learning. Over the course of 3 months, participants are continually evaluated and their performance is thoroughly tracked. Through webinars and investigations of complex case studies, the curriculum endeavors to expound on pedagogical and coaching techniques that are effective and inclusive. Convened by senior coaches from the NCDA and the CDA, the sessions will provide a multitude of real-world insights which will certainly enhance your coaching skills and prepare you for this demanding line of work. The honors that are bestowed upon the graduates of this program include international credentials from the NCDA and the CDA.
The skills and lessons that one learns throughout the three levels of the ICCC program can be harnessed using Mindler’s partner platform—a Saas (software as a service) framework that leverages Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning algorithms to automate and streamline career guidance. Having undergone rigorous ICCC training, you will have developed the mettle to begin, or upscale, your own career counselling venture and lasting value to the lives of others.
