Career selection can be a very nerve wrecking & time consuming exercise. Few get it in the first go, but thousands and lakhs struggle through their formative years with trial and error. I’ve had the privilege of working with countless young minds staggering under the weight of career expectations both from self, and others. Pressure from parents, peers, teachers, educational system, and society can make the most strong & healthy mind run for cover.

But why so much of stress and agony over the career decision making process? Is it such a life altering or threatening decision that can ruin or scar us forever?
The answer could be, that we take our careers very seriously as is the case with faith & marriage. Therefore we want to get it right & want it to last our entire living life. And a stable and well paying career is usually seen as a mark of respect and societal acceptance and a passport to good life.
A great career can play a big role in perception building of an individual, and all our future associations and relationships will be governed by the career we choose. And the biggest challenge today, lies in finding the formula for the perfect career selection/fitment, and many companies & counselors have tried to find a method or a workable solution that fits all.
