Writing regularly is a path to self-discovery, and a blog is a great way to build a network of people who respect you for your ideas. Blogging helps you become better in the area of your interest, and if done well, can also be monetized \u2013 full-time or part-time.<\/span><\/p>\n

Blogging has become a trending career option; and the new-age media including social news, entertainment, social media, etc. has given it a much-required boost, and has opened up a world of opportunities. Before one takes up blogging seriously, one would ask\u00a0 if blogging as a career has good earning potential. The short answer is \u2013 Yes.<\/span><\/p>\n

A decent flair for writing, and a passion about a particular topic\/area is all you need to get started. You can pick up anything from travel to fashion, from tech to food, to write your blog on. Once they have built a loyal following on their blog, they can monetize it through various channels \u2013 running ads on the blog, putting sponsored content, featuring a brand, etc. The amount of money one can make is a function of the amount of traffic and the subject of the blog. For instance \u2013 one can earn up to INR 100 per ad for every 1000 views on a technology-related blog that covers review, tips and tricks on gadgets.<\/span><\/p>\n

          Income:<\/strong> Depends on their work profile, work experience; could range from INR 10K to a few lakhs per month<\/span><\/p>\n
