The UGC NET exam is a national eligibility test for candidates for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) and Assistant Professor positions. NTA (National Testing Agency) administers the UGC NET Exams twice a year in December and June.<\/p>\n

Associate Professors who have served in that grade for three years and hold a Ph.D. are eligible for Professor Posts if they have published a minimum of 10 research papers in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals, three of which must be published within the assessment period. A professor or associate professor (without a Ph.D.) will have the same qualifications, including authority and workload.
