Delhi University, Joint Admission Test, abbreviated as DU JAT, is a national level entrance examination conducted by the Delhi University to select candidates in the Bachelor’s in Business Economics (BBE), Bachelor’s in Management Studies (BMS), and Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment and Analysis) programs.
DU JAT 2021 Exam
JAT (Joint Admission Test) is a part of DUET (Delhi University Entrance Test) and is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates applying to BBS, BFIA, BBE, or BMS programs must clear the DU JAT entrance test, following which they have to appear in a group discussion and a personal interview. DU JAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria set by the authorities is the deciding factor for your application to be considered for the admission process. DU JAT includes certain requirements that are mentioned as below:
- General or OBC category candidates should possess an aggregate of 60% or more marks in the qualifying examination in four subjects: English, Mathematics, and any two other subjects.
- Selection will be based on the rank computed from the combined weighted average of percentage scored in the entrance test. The percentage scored in the qualifying examination where the weights are: Entrance Test: 65%, Qualifying Examination: 35%.
- There is no age limit prescribed to apply for the DU JAT examination.
DU JAT 2021 Exam Pattern
As per the DU JAT 2021 exam pattern, there will be 100 MCQ-based questions (each section consists of 25 questions) in the question paper. For every correct answer, four marks are given. For every incorrect response, one mark gets deducted.
Students will get 120 minutes (2 hours) to complete the exam. The National Testing Agency conducts the exam in an online mode. This exam is conducted to assess the general aptitude of candidates. For detailed information regarding the DU JAT Exam Pattern, refer to the table below:

DU JAT 2021 Important Dates

The registration fee for Unreserved Category/OBC is Rs. 500/- and Rs. 250/- for SC/ST/PwD payable at the time of online registration.
DU JAT 2021 Selection Criteria
The selection of candidates will be made based on the rank computed from the combined weighted average percentage score in the All India Joint Entrance Test and the percentage scored in the qualifying examination, i.e., 12th board exams. As per the conducting body, the weightage is as follows:
- Entrance Exam: 65%
- Qualifying Exam: 35%

DU JAT 2021 Application Process
The process of applying for entrance-based courses to get admission to one of the best colleges of Delhi University, in a nutshell, consists of registering online, completing, and submitting the online application form before the payment of the registration fee. After the exam results are declared, the admission process begins in the college campus and payment of fees. The steps to apply for DU JAT Exam is as follows:
- Visit the official website of Delhi University to fill the DU JAT online application form to register.
- Login with your registered email id and password.
- Fill in all the details in DU JAT 2021 Application form.
- Upload all the documents, photographs, and signatures in the specified size and format.
- Pay the application fee for the final submission. The application fee for General and OBC candidates is Rs. 750, whereas the application fee for SC / ST/ CW/ PwD candidates is Rs. 300.
- Once the successful payment of application fees, an acknowledgment receipt will be generated. Take a printout of this for future reference.
